The SMWC Madrigals, along with Director Michael Boswell, left SMWC this morning for the airport in Chicago, where they will depart this evening for Dublin, Ireland! They were seen off by a few staff and faculty, with Janet Clark, VPAA, saying a prayer for safe travels. Click here for video of the moment of prayer. We know they will represent SMWC well as they compete in the 8th Mayo International Choral Festival (The competitions take place on Saturday May 25th in Castlebar, Ireland) in County Mayo, Ireland.

While they will travel all night to get to Ireland and will have a chance to experience Irish music on Tuesday, they already have two non-competition performances scheduled for Wednesday, May 22nd:
· Ashford Castle Performance, Tea & Tour of grounds afterwards.
· Ballintubber Abbey evening concert.
